Puss In Boots: The Last Wish Synopsis

It has been more than a decade since Puss in Boots was on the big screen and this year he is back and as passionate as ever! Puss in Boots: The Last Wish follows our favorite fearless hero as he discovers that his disregard for safety and constant perilous situations have taken their toll. Puss is down to his last life and for a cat, that is bad news.

Puss in Boots snuffs retirement for a grand adventure to get those lives back with one last wish. However, with only one life left, Puss has to ask for help from his former partner, Kitty Soft Paws as well as a new scruffy mutt, Perro. A magical wishing star is out there and Puss isn’t the only character looking to change his life. Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Big Jack Horner and a Bounty Hunter are all after the same star…who will prevail?

Puss In Boots: The Last Wish Review

Puss in Boots has always been a beloved character in our home. My kids loved the previous movies and so I knew they would be super excited to see The Last Wish. The storyline overall was really good, taking viewers through Puss’ previous lives, his wildly charming style and grandiose quests. I adored Perro and the relationship between Puss and Kitty too and I am sure you will as well.

In true “Shrek” style, the movie has a lot of humor and there were many moments of laughter throughout. It also has a lot of adult humor and some curse words that are implied but are literally bleeped out. Overall, it was a great sequel and easily is a stand alone without previously seeing the other movies.
