We made sure to get to the Denver Coliseum early and grab snacks, bathroom breaks and get seated comfortably. I love that if you get there early the workers do not mind if you walk down to the ice to take some photos. The backdrop to this show was a big rocklike mountain that they would add little changes to as the stories changed.
Dream Big is Disneys’ Princess focus that has so many undertones of strength, empowerment and positivity. My daughter was dying to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and were ecstatic when they made their appearance! So fun.
I had so many favorite princess stories that I was eager to see. One of my favorite scenes was the Little Mermaid scene. There was some fantastic acrobatics in this and even my sister and I were on the edge of our seats for several moments of this! Totally unexpected, you just have to see.
My son is all about the pyrotechnics. Disney On Ice had a lot of great fireworks and scenes that were exciting, but the one thing I had never seen was them literally light the ice on fire! Maleficent comes out and begins her fight, only to lose, but wow was it phenomenal and exciting to see.
Obviously Elsa and Anna were my daughters focus, and my son really wanted to see the ice monster, but we still thoroughly enjoyed the Frozen scenes!
As always the conclusion of the show was jam packed with action and excitement. People were clapping and singing and just enjoying the magic. The ending is always my favorite.
