Recharge Your Skin with Image Skincare
It has been a little over 5 months since I started using Image Skincare and it has been life changing for me and my skin. After struggling with hormonal cystic acne for so many years, I finally found a product line and routine that truly has made a big difference. However, with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, my skin really did take a backseat and it needed a little skin recharge.
The holidays are full of delicious, sugary foods and so many events and experiences, that at the end of the day we are typically stuffed full and exhausted. I have to admit that I was TERRIBLE about taking care of my skin these last 4 weeks. I think I did my full skincare routine a total of 8 times and my skin was sending me a message very loudly. Red, painful and large signs, that made me take notice.
I quickly headed to my trusty skincare brand and found their hydration recharge kit and got that baby in my hands. When it arrived I put it to work and in just a few short days, my skin is already brightening up, the breakout is nearly gone and my face feels better.
How to Recharge Your Skin
If you are fighting that post holiday skin, you need to grab the Image Skincare Hydration Recharge Collection now. From there, recharging your skin is a pretty easy process. Start by using their awesome I Beauty facial wipes that have aloe that cleanse the skin and remove make up while also nourishing it in one easy sweep.
I always remove my makeup before completing my skincare routine and these wipes were super gentle, did not dry out my skin and smelled really good. The makeup and impurities of the day came right off with very minimal effort and I could already feel my skin responding.
Now, most people would go straight from the facial wipes to the Vital C anti-aging serum, but I am not most people and I have a love affair with their cleansers. The facial wipes do a great job and you absolutely could go straight to the serum, but I personally like to use the cleansers. I use the Vital C hydrating cleanser in the evenings and in the mornings I use the Ageless Total cleanser in the evenings.
I love that the Vital C cleanser does not foam up at all and smells incredible, but that Ageless Total cleanser has a minty almost exfoliating feeling that I just love with a small bit of foam. I can put them on with or without water and they leave my skin feeling so fresh and clean.
Once I have cleansed my skin, I always use the Vital C anti-aging serum. It hydrates, it makes my skin feel vibrant and I probably use this more than I use a moisturizer. I feel like this serum has been a game changer for me and it is absolutely my favorite product out of everything that Image Skincare makes.
Once I used the Vital C Serum, it was time to put on one of the two hydrating hydrogel sheet masks. Oh, these are HEAVEN. I need a whole box of these, because they felt so good and really hydrated my skin. When I took the mask off, my skin had better coloring, it was plump and fresh and soft.
I then finished my hydration recharge with The Max stem cell cream which is an absolute must as it helps to tighten and smooth the skin and I swear that is helps rejuvenate the damage that my skin takes. I also gave my lips a little refresher to smooth them out with this harsh winter weather and used the Ormedic Balancing Lip Enhancement which added some volume and firmness to my lips!
For 3 days I did the facial wipes, cleanser, vital c serum, max stem cell cream and lip enhancement and the change in my skin was so noticeable. So fresh, so vibrant and so much confidence added back to my soul. I did use the masks with about 4 days between them and will continue to do this complete recharge for about 14 days in addition to my morning skincare routines.
It took 5 days but my skin showed a HUGE improvement and you guys, I was still eating terribly and not sleeping as good through this entire recharge. I am sure if I was being much more diligent about nutrition and sleep my skin would have healed and recharged even quicker. I will say that I have a small bit of eye makeup on in the after picture, but otherwise, my skin really took that recharge and ran with it.
