A couple weeks ago, I was invited to head to Downtown Denver and try out Hard Rock Cafe’s New World Burger Tour Menu. It was pretty much the best day ever, in the land of eating and entertainment.
Hard Rock Cafe is one of my favorite places to dine in and with the views of the 16th Street Mall in Denver it is fun to people watch. When we walked it the ambiance of the place was perfect, low lighting, great music, wonderful smells and a welcoming feeling. We were whisked away to begin trying the amazing World Burger Tour menu and it did not disappoint. I mean just look at those beautiful burgers!
“As a global brand, Hard Rock understands the importance of tailoring its menu and embracing the different taste profiles of guests at each of our locations,” said Michael Beacham, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Corporate Cafes for Hard Rock International. “The World Burger Tour provides us with a new way to share a taste of the Local Legendary experience with burger fans around the world!”
Sizzling headliners that will be featured at Hard Rock Cafe Denver as part of Hard Rock Cafe’s World Burger Tour menu include:
- Rocky Burger – Denver’s local legendary, created by Denver Nuggets’ mascot Rocky, features two four-ounce burger patties, two slices of pepper jack cheese, a fried egg, two strips of bacon and buttermilk fried onion strings
- Java Lava Burger – this American Legendary from Seattle features a Certified Angus Beef® patty grilled and dressed in a house-made espresso rub and topped with lava sauce, crunchy java onions, bacon, melted Tillamook Cheddar cheese and garnished with a fried jalapeño
- Schnitzel Burger – this German Legendary features two stacks of tender pork schnitzel lightly breaded and made crispy to order, topped with crunchy sauerkraut, spicy brown mustard and savory bacon
- Banh Mi Burger – this Vietnamese Legendary features a Certified Angus Beef patty topped with house-made Vietnamese glaze, pickled vegetables and cucumbers accompanied by a garnish of cilantro and green onions
- Date Burger – this United Arab Emirates Legendary features a Certified Angus Beef patty topped with rich date chutney, diced fresh dates and a dollop of cream cheese.
Our personal favorite was a tie between the Banh Mi Burger and the Java Lava Burger. The Banh Mi had a light feeling with full flavor. It was the burger that I was most nervous to try but absolutely could have eaten 10 of. I also tried the Banh Mi vegetarian option and it was great too. The Java Lava Burger did not actually taste like coffee as I had expected. It had a very rich smokey flavor and the cheese on it was ooey gooey. I also really like the Denver special the Rocky Burger. Fun fact about this is that Rocky the Denver Nuggets’ Mascot actually went into the restaurant and made the burger and $1.00 for every Rocky Burger sold goes to the Kroenke Sports Special Olympics.
However, burgers were not the only items we got to chow down on. We also sampled some of their decadent artisan french fries and dipping sauces, and the great drinks too. My husband absolutely loved the Garlic Fries with
Chimichurri Mayo and although I loved the fries too, the drinks were where it was at. My favorite was the Mai Tai One On, it was a bit strong but really paired well with the food and was smooth going down.
