Hard Rock Cafe’s Phenomenal Guinness Burger Pairing

Date nights are a lifeline and sanity saver in this house. The husband and I rarely get moments to eat in peace and dinner is typically crazy and full of a thousand bathroom breaks with our wonderful kids. I cannot even remember the last time that I ate a warm meal…until date night! We had the opportunity to head to downtown Denver and check out Hard Rock Cafe’s new Guinness and Jameson Burger paring, and it was everything and more.
Last week was a whirlwind and I needed a moment to just breathe. I had not had a single beer since December because of my diabetes and was really looking forward to a nice bold brew and a quiet dinner with my amazing husbands company.
Our server was beyond fantastic. He was right on top of our needs and very knowledgeable, some of the best service we have had in a very long time. I also watched him with the rest of his tables and he was the same personable, knowledgeable and amazing waiter to everyone. It was refreshing to have someone wait on us that truly enjoyed and loved his job. He started our evening off with the Guinness® Draught and it was smooth and just the start to the evening that we needed.
About 1/3 of the way through my tasty Guinness® came the phenomenal Guinness and Jameson Bacon Cheeseburger. I have always loved Hard Rock’s burgers and fries because they are made with certified angus beef and fresh ingredients. The fries are their artesian brand and always come with yummy dipping sauces. The dipping sauce of choice for our meal was Sriracha mayo, and for a girl who has a love affair with hot sauce, this was out of this world good!
The burger itself was cooked perfectly and the minute I took a bite the caramelized whiskey bacon jam stole the show. This melt in your mouth burger was the perfect blend of smokey flavors with a sweet and spicy taste. I really enjoyed this burger and although I could not eat all of it, I definitely enjoyed it for lunch the next day as well. It was HUGE and delicious and just right up my meat loving alley.
We have been to Hard Rock Denver several times for various celebrations and promotions but I have never actually walked through their store. I took a moment to browse the awesome merch and really loved the shirt designs. I asked a bunch of questions and found out that most people collect the Hard Rock shirts from around the world and that people often come in off the street just to purchase merchandise.
The store itself is immaculately clean and organized. In retail establishments that is not typically the case but I swear nothing was out of place and everything was presented well and easy to find. The store associate was extremely knowledgeable, approachable and helpful and really just fun to chat with.
I found out one cool fact about the Hard Rock collectable pins. This past year Hard Rock surpassed Disney in pin trading and collectability. As an avid Disney fan and pin trader and collector I was surprised and was peeking at every servers lanyard to see what awesome pins they were rocking. I might have found myself a new hobby.
After a wonderful meal and some store browsing we headed back to our vehicle to head home after a splendid evening, full, happy and really thankful for a night out at a top notch establishment.
