I blinked and it was May and in just a few weeks we will be out for summer and ready for all that life has to offer. Those long days, family vacations and so much more. One of the stops we are hoping to make this summer is to Great Wolf Lodge for their first EVER Summer Camp-In!

Great Wolf Lodge is taking the time-honored summer tradition of camping and is bringing it to the lodge with some incredible activities and fun that you and your family can enjoy from Memorial Day through Labor Day at all 16 U.S. based locations. It sounds like so much fun and we are really hoping to make a family weekend out of it! Check out all the fun events they have planned below.

Camp Themed Guest Rooms

Great Wolf Lodge has incredible rooms as it is, and now they are adding an addition bit of fun to their already awesome guest rooms. Guest rooms will be decorated with everything from pennant bunting and yellow gingham bed scarves to actual in-room tents and campfire lanterns.

There are different types of decorations for different types of rooms and you can bet that the staff at Great Wolf Lodge will put their all into the tiny details to really make guests feel like they are having that summer camp-in!

S’Mores!

One of the events they are adding to their Summer Camp-in is s’mores! We had the honor to enjoy these when we visited last fall and can attest to what a huge hit these were! The special s’mores bar will be featured during the camp-in and you can bet your kids (and you) will absolutely love the tasty treats!

Pool Parties

Great Wolf Lodge is obviously home to a huge indoor water park and families flock to GWL for this reason. To amp up their Summer Camp-In, they are adding some fun pool parties! Featuring DJs, refreshments, limbo, rubber duck races, corn hole toss and a conga line this is sure to be a party that guests of every age will love to be a part of.

Trailblazer Challenge

My daughter is most excited for the Trailblazer Challenge. She loves to participate in games and events and when I told her she will have the opportunity to do different arts and crafts like friendship bracelet making and rubber ducky decorating, she was 100% ready to go right then and there! There will even be some competitions like a corn hole challenge.

Character Breakfast

You cannot go to Great Wolf Lodge without falling in love with the adorable woodland characters like Wiley the Wolf, Violet the Wolf or even Oliver the Raccoon. During the Summer Camp-In, guests will have the opportunity to dine with the characters with awesome opportunities for photos and autographs. Think camp counselor-led songs and dances with napkin twirling and your favorite friends leading the fun!
