Sunday is Easter and I along with many families will be getting together to share in a blessed day and of course share a meal. In our family, Easter is done Potluck style. This year I am in charge of a dessert and I need it to be quick and easy, as it is also a busy weekend for the blog, and homework too! So check out this super simple and very easy Easter Bunny Cupcake Cake!
Easter morning is always pretty hectic around our house. It is a mash up of getting ready for church, doing a little egg hunt around our house, eating breakfast and packing up to drive an hour to see our family. I need something that is easy and could even be made on the spot at the family dinner. If this is your scenario too, then go easy on yourself and make this.
Ingredients:
- Cake mix
- Frosting
- Betty Crocker Writing Gel
- Jelly Beans
- Fine Sprinkles
You can have the ingredients in your favorite colors or flavors. It is Easter and everything is bright and cheery! I just chose the white because, well, I was practicing with leftover cupcakes from the peanuts birthday party.
Directions:
- Make the cupcakes and frost them or buy them. Go easy on yourself here.
- Lay them out in the bunny pattern below.
- Use jelly beans for the nose and eyes and then use the writing gel to draw the whiskers, mouth and around the eyes (forgot to take a picture of the around the eyes part).
- Add fine sprinkles to highlight the cheeks and the inside of the ears
Stand back in awe of your ability to be crafty without a lot of fuss!
