Last week, I took the day off work as I always do for my kids first days of school to get my tiny peanut off to her first day of preschool.
I do not like to post details about my kids schools, so I do not have that picture in front of the school sign to share, however, I will tell you that at drop off, the girl dropped her backpack off in her cubby and ran to go play. No tears, no bye mom, nothing. I had to practically run over to hug and kiss her bye and that girl didn’t even notice!
Her school is 4 days a week for 2.5 hours and for the 3 year old classroom it is more play school and socialization. All of the kids in her class have either been with a grandparent or parent all day and not in a daycare setting, so play school is pretty critical to getting them ready for school in a couple years!
Our little one loved the first day and told us she was done with school, but when our babysitter took her to school the next day, she was fine and every day after, she has asked to go to school. I think she likes it and she is so cute with that oversized backpack!
