The official start of Spring is only a few days away and of course that means numerous outdoor parties, Easter and Mother’s Day celebrations and various other events. I take pride in how my kids are presented and love to keep them in style, so I headed over to Carter’s to check out their adorable spring line and I fell in love!
First of all I hit up their amazing doorbusters and snagged several outfits for both kids. The little mister needed some new T-shirts and these mix and match playtime favorites were awesome. The material is good quality cotton that still feels lightweight enough for playtime and the designs are too cute. My little mister particularly loved the glow in the dark bug shirt and the mustache shirt as well.
When it comes to the tiny peanut, I decided to start building our 18 month wardrobe a bit more. When you have a tiny abnormally growing child and you buy clothes expecting them to fit in one season and clearly they do not, you definitely need to snag deals wen you can get them. I found several deals and was making lists of what I needed to come back and get with my Carter’s Cash. The color choices of aqua and coral were so evident and the bright floral patterns were awesome in this spring line. I really loved the mermaid outfit and could hardly stop fawning over this adorable coral romper!
How cute are my kiddos in these clothes. Carter’s Spring Time & Vacation essentials really nailed it. I loved so much about everything this clothing line has to offer, particularly how light and airy and beautiful it is. I also appreciate how appropriate the style of clothing is. Lately, the trends in kids clothes have not been very modest and for children I feel like that is so important. I want my kids to look cute but also have some modesty. Carter’s clothes never disappoint and are adorable and stylish.
One of those must have items that I have on my list when I head back in a couple weeks is swim wear. The peanut has grown a lot in a year and definitely needs a new suit as well as some matching sandals and a hat. I absolutely love the anchor suit and matching glasses and flip flops. So cute! For my mister I was thinking of the adorable Shark Rashguard and Multistripe swim shorts. There are so many mix and match options to choose from and I am so excited to go shopping soon.
One of the main reasons I decided to shop at Carter’s was reputation and quality, however, I also was looking for coordinating Easter clothes that we could have professional photos taken in. I was hoping to get these photos done in time to share with the husband’s grandparents for their 65th wedding anniversary in April, however, this weekend we lost an amazing man to that awful C word. I slammed through to get some photos done for them that looked 1/2 way decent and although they are not professional, they look pretty good. Unfortunately I did not get them done in time.
The coordinating Easter and dress up lines are adorable. I had such a difficult time narrowing down the outfits I wanted the kids to wear. First I had picked out this green gingham button down shirt with an bow tie to accessorize and then chose this white lace Easter dress for the peanut to match.
That all went out the window when I found the Boat Shoes and all bets on outfits were out. I rearranged everyone based on these shoes and regret nothing. How cute are those shoes on my little mister? He said they are really comfortable too! I chose the classic plaid button down shirt paired with grey canvas pants for the mister and for the peanut the crepe striped dress and matching sparkle bows and flower flats!
Did I mention that I spent a little over $100.00 on all these clothes and accessories. Between the amazing doorbuster sales and my 25% off coupon I saved almost $100.00 as well. You really cannot pass up quality stylish clothing for those prices.
