Holiday Shopping Is Easy with the Walmart App
I am usually on top of my holiday shopping list. I mean, by July I have most gifts purchased and all that is typically left are the last minute small items and of course the gifts from the big guy. This year, I just could not wrap my head around the holidays sneaking up so quickly.
The husband and I went Black Friday shopping at Walmart and snagged some sweet deals, but even then, I did not have my holiday list rounded out, so of course, I snuck away from some more shopping at Walmart. I was a bit overwhelmed with the task at hand and the fact that the holiday deals are spread throughout the store, until I spotted this little sign and realized that the Walmart app was going to be a time saver!
I typed in the items I was looking for and the Walmart app pulled up the store layout and aisle locations. It was awesome and so easy to locate exactly what I was looking for. What I thought would take a couple hours in store, ended up only taking us about 45 minutes to get all the items (and more if we are being honest) on our list.
Deals On Deals!
Walmart is our go to for savings. They always have the best prices and great items. From gift wrapping, to party hosting, to gifts for everyone on your list, you are going to find the best prices (and of course they price match). We landed one of the hottest toys for this season (that LOL Bigger Surprise in the basket) on sale for $10.00 off and nearly every item in our basket was either on sale or on clearance. Walmart really is America’s Best Toy Shop.
The technology items were where we found a ton of deals. Our son doesn’t know it, but he will be getting a gaming system this season and Walmart had some incredible deals on games and accessories for that system. We also were able to upgrade some of our smart home devices as well which although not Christmas gifts, they make life easy year round.
Check Out with Me
On Black Friday we were able to get in and out of Walmart in a flash. We didn’t need to utilize that feature on our trip last weekend, but let me tell you how cool their new “Check Out with Me” system is. We were in the electronics department and lines in the store were a mile long. We had a sitter for about 2 hours and needed to go to 3 stores.
We walked into Walmart, got the items we wanted and a Walmart associate walked up to us with a handheld Me Mobile device to check us out. In and out in about 15 minutes with no stress. You can learn more about their Check out With Me service here.
Shop Online Too
Walmart.com is making easy to maneuver the holidays as well. Their new re-designed website, easy pick up and low prices are taking the stress out of the holidays. We constantly use their grocery pick up and I love that I basically have a personal shopper to get through the crowds and snag the items that I need for our upcoming celebrations. They are also offering 2 day free shipping as well!
