You guys! This weekend is going to be so exciting and full of fun. Of course Halloween but also because I get to attend a really awesome event! Hard Rock Cafe is launching their new Roxtars™ Children’s Program and I get to preview it…and you can too!
I cannot wait to participate and share our experience with everyone. I truly hope to see some of you there. What a great way to enjoy this fall holiday weekend, and break out those rockstar costumes!!!
Details are below:
To launch the Hard Rock Roxtars™ program, Hard Rock Cafe Denver will host the “Does Your Child Look Like a Rock Star?” contest on November 1st 2014 at 11:00 am.
For one night, kids, in costume or not, will eat free if each is with an adult purchasing an entrée*. Guests can bring their favorite pint-sized rock star to the cafe dressed in their best costume for a chance to win a Hard Rock Cafe gift card or a 2015 birthday party** for eight of the rock star’s closest band members and entourage. + Just as the rest of the city puts away their Halloween costumes, Hard Rock Cafe Denver will be on the look-out for the city’s future rock stars that look and dress the part. Any child under age 10, dressed as a rock star, or wearing their favorite Hard Rock gear, is eligible to participate in the contest. The contest celebrates the unveiling of the Hard Rock Roxtars, a band of characters serving as brand ambassadors for Hard Rock’s multifaceted brand-wide programs catering to children of all ages, presented at Hard Rock Cafes®, Hard Rock Hotels and Rock Shops® worldwide. The Hard Rock Roxtars will provide fans of Hard Rock with an authentic, irreverent experience rich in music content, allowing the brand to connect with future and veteran rockers alike. Inspired by Hard Rock International’s paramount differentiator – music – this band of five characters and music performers, the Hard Rock Roxtars, each have distinct personalities representing the individuality and freedom of artistic expression in children. Band members include Razzi™, Sir Kingston™, Styler™, Buddy Jr™ and Skiddley™. The Hard Rock Roxtars are each unapologetically original and designed to inspire kids of all ages to rock an inimitable brand of cool, allowing their originality to shine.
“Hard Rock has always had great offerings for the whole family,” said Hard Rock Cafe Denver General Manager Sean Finney. “But now, with the launch of Roxtars, there is even more for kids – and parents – to love about Hard Rock.” Children who dine at Hard Rock Cafe Denver will be greeted with their own activity book, Hard Rock Roxtars themed menus, guitar-shaped plates and Hard Rock Roxtars photo opportunities. As part of The National Restaurant Association’s Kids LiveWell program in collaboration with Healthy Dining, a mission and online resource that helps parents and children alike select healthy menu options when dining out, Hard Rock Cafes worldwide will offer healthier food options, ranging from Skiddley’s “Not-so-diddley” chicken breast to the “twisted ‘n tasty” cavatappi pasta.
When Hard Rock Roxtars travel, they do so in style, and families who stay at Hard Rock Hotels are immediately in the band. Kids will receive a special Hard Rock Roxtars Activity Book at check-in and unlimited entertainment at Hard Rock Roxity Kids Club, a family-friendly, music-inspired haven, customized per property, where kids rock to their own rhythm, catch a live Hard Rock Roxtars performance or take part in experiential, engaging and music-infused learning activities. Hard Rock Roxity Kids Club is currently available at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza and will soon be offered at additional Hard Rock Hotels worldwide.
Allowing kids to continue the fun, take their favorite character home or look the part, Rock Shops at Hard Rock Cafes and Hotels worldwide, including Hard Rock Cafe Denver, will feature the exclusive Hard Rock Roxtars collection of clothes, accessories and gear, including band tees and light up drum sticks. Collectible and original items will also be available for purchase at Hard Rock’s online Rock Shop at www.hardrock.com.
