A couple weeks ago, I was invited back to Hard Rock to check out some new menu options to celebrate Global Vegetarian Awareness Month. Unfortunately, we could not make this work in my schedule, but I wanted to share the details with everyone because Hard Rock is one of our favorite places!
When I first took a peek at the menu options, a few items popped out at me. I love meat, but I also enjoy every single bit of vegetables you can throw at me. I think I could easily be a vegetarian. The salad pictured above is the Pico De Gallo Quinoa Arugula Salad. I know we will be making a trip in to Hard Rock Denver soon because this amazing mix of fresh Arugula, Quinoa and Brussel sprouts has my mouth watering.
Another item we cannot wait to try are the Cauliflower wings! They have a spicy buffalo coating and are cooked to perfection. We eat a ton of cauliflower in our home and this is right up our alley!
Hard Rock is also offering two special Vegetarian cocktails. The first is the Very Veggie ‘Tini made with cucumber, red onion, mint and lime juice and shaken with greek yogurt and vodka! The second is the alcohol free Wascally Wabbit, blended with carrot, apple and orange juice and ginger and Orgeat. I am not a big carrot juice person, but I could see how this would probably have a pretty sweet taste to it.
For the main course, there are two items I am really interested in trying out. The first is the Cauliflower burger. There is a patty of specially seasoned cauliflower topped with zucchini and squash with Monterey jack cheese. This also has my favorite garlic aoili sauce on it, so I am sure this will be a hit for my tastebuds!
Another item I would love to try out is the Grilled Ratatouille Wrap. Made with the ratatouille vegetables and Sriracha Mayo wrapped in a grilled flower tortilla served with a side salad, this delectable dish is right up my alley. I am really excited to get my hands on this vegetarian feast!
