Step By Step Molded Soap Tutorial
I never knew just how easy it was to make molded soap. In four easy steps you will have soap that is homemade, molded into whatever your heart desires and even scented to your preference.
Step 1: Cut soap base into 1”x 1” cubes and place into measuring cup.
Step 2: Microwave the cubes on high for 30 seconds and stir well. If not completely melted, heat on high in 10 second intervals, stirring each time, until fully melted.
Step 3: Add soap colorant and fragrance oil, stir well.
Step 4: Immediately pour the melted soap solution into and ice cube tray and let set for about 30-45 minutes to harden.
Once everything has set up then you can go ahead and pop the molded soaps out of the silicon mold and display or use as you please!
I mean how adorable are these? I seriously love them and the soap is SO soft on your hands. Molding these little fun flamingos took about an hour start to finish, but most of that was just allowing them to harden!
