Checking Out #SantaHQ this Season

Santa really is my favorite. I love this season, I love the spirit and sentiments it brings out in everyone and I love how magical it feels. Visiting Santa is a tradition that we absolutely cannot miss. We headed to Santa HQ at Flatirons Crossing in Broomfield Colorado for our first meeting with the big guy!

The morning started with Santa’s arrival and a free breakfast with Eggland’s Best eggs! There were a lot of people, but the entertainment was great while we waited and the lines moved quickly. After breakfast we headed downstairs to Santa HQ.

We visited last year and the kids had a very nice time. I think it is great that people can make reservations online and then just walk up and go through the interactive experience as they await their special time with Santa!

First stop at Santa HQ is checking if we are on the naughty or nice list. My little Christmas Tree dressed gal, made the nice list…just barely ?! Our big guy nailed the nice list and the kids were both very excited!

After checking our position on THE list, we headed into the observatory to check out what the elves were up to and play some games. The kids enjoyed the tablets and looking at everything in the observatory come to life. It was a really nice time and I think they would have stayed there forever had I not had them move on.

Next up, we posed for a little holiday photo before it was our turn to meet Santa. This was the point my kids decided to turn into the most hysterically awful picture takers ever. You guys, I could not stop laughing at how forced these smiles were.

I mean I swear that they loved meeting him! Santa was amazing and so attentive to the kids. He focused on listening to what they wanted and making sure they were really excited for the holiday season and on their best behavior. However, the little one could not figure out where to look for the photo and this is the best we could get. You guys, I cracked up when I saw this. Definitely had to purchase this one!

However, my favorite of them, is always when Santa and the kids are chatting! It is such a tender moment and one that I absolutely want to remember!
