So for the last five weeks I have been celebrating my weekend with slow cooker Sunday! I have done this for several reasons.
1. Easy to make, easy to clean later.
2. Allows me to go do a lot during the day and arrive at home with dinner ready!
3. It’s fun to try new food!
So what’s for dinner tonight???
BBQ beef sandwiches with a salad, and maybe some baked beans!
I am going to try to post about slow cooker Sunday each week…if you have any excellent crock pot recipes, post them below in my comments section.

Here's one crock pot night and 2 dinners:
1 good size beef or pork roast, seasoned to your tastehandful of carrots (if you like them)6-7 potatoes peeled and chunkedsliced onion (if you like)cover with water and crock pot all day
remove veggies and roast, remove enough juice to make gravy.
Roast, veggies and gravy for dinner 1
Dinner 2Shred remaining roast, add BBQ sauce and some of the juice from the crockpot, to taste (do this before putting it away from the first night). Slice and fry remaining potatoes. Dinner 2 bbq sandwiches with potatoes or you can make a potatoe salad instead with the leftover potates.
Chili is always better if slow cooked in the crock pot.
A different style of buffalo chicken: use drumsticks and thighs, cover with Frank's Buffalo Sauce. The meat falls right off the bone.
