The holiday season is coming to a close, but our family was able to be a part of paying it forward with Toyota, while checking out their 2020 Highlander.

Paying It Forward with Toyota
As long time Toyota owners, we know the quality and longevity of their vehicles and after working with them for the last 2 years we also know how focused they are on giving back to the communities they serve. This past weekend we were able to do just that and pay it forward in a big way.

When my sister and mom found out we were going to be shopping for families in need this holiday season, they donated a bit more cash and said, to buy ALL the things and spoil those families. We did just that. My family and I headed to the store and we shopped and grabbed items for every age group from babies to tweens and teens. It was really fun picking out toys that our kids love and knowing that other kids would be enjoying these and making memories.

Once we purchased everything, we loaded up the 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid to the brim and drove down to safely drop off the toys with Denver Dream Center. Each year Denver Dream Center runs several events to bring hope to the hopeless and make sure that everyone is taken care of with food, clothing, toys and more. They do some incredible work in our community and I love that Toyota opened our eyes to the good that they are bringing.

This year Denver Dream Center took extra precautions to make sure that we had a contactless delivery. We drove straight to the drop off locations and then popped the automatic hatch on the Toyota Highlander and they unloaded the gifts, thanked us for our donations and wished us a Happy Holiday.

Once we finished dropping off the gifts, we headed to Starbucks to pay it forward in the drive through. My family loves to do this, so it seemed like a good way to end our day. The kids ordered hot chocolates and I got a coffee and then we paid for the car behind us and drove off with joy in our souls.

It was such a great experience being able to give back and pay it forward within our own community. Our kids look forward to doing good for others which makes my mama heart happy and I am very thankful for the opportunities and the means to do so. Favorite Features of the 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid
Full disclosure, I own a Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum and it was incredibly solid when we were hit by a drunk driver this year. I love it, so just be ready. Our highlander is not a hybrid and it is a few years older than the pretty Ruby red girl that arrived in our driveway last week. There are a few exterior changes on the 2020 like some chrome accents and wheels, but the interior is where it is at.
The interior of the car features their glazed caramel premium leather and gray wood finish accents. It comes equipped with ALL the technology you can dream and this massive touchscreen that allows you to control the temperature, seat climate, audio, dynamic navigation and more. I really love this screen and the fact that EVERYTHING can be accessed through here and you really cannot beat Apple CarPlay. So nice to use.
In addition, the 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid has several different drive modes to give you the best driving experience and you can even get a driving score, which my husband and I loved. Some other things we enjoyed were the Qi wireless charging console, the panoramic moonroof and all the Toyota Safety Sense features.
This Toyota Highlander is a beauty and definitely has everything that you could want and more. It is a super safe car (rated #2 for mid-size SUVs) and the gas mileage on this hybrid is really something to be in awe. We had the car for a week…we drove it EVERYWHERE…we didn’t even go through a tank of gas. For more information on the 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid, check them out online.
