We missed the screening for Paddington because we were all so sick this weekend, but I checked in with a couple of my friends that were there and they had nothing but wonderful things to say about the movie. They said that it was cute, funny with a little adult humor and that you do not need to see the first movie to thoroughly enjoy this one! I thought I would share a little synopsis of the movie before jumping into the amazing marmalade recipe!
Paddington the Bear returns as an established member of the Brown family spreading marmalade and joy at every place he appears. As Paddington prepares for his Aunt’s 100th birthday, he find a book which is the perfect gift…until a thief stills it! That sends our beloved Paddington on a journey to capture the culprit and deliver the book for Aunt Lucy’s big celebration!
Now that we know a bit more about Paddington’s love of Marmalade and his Aunt Lucy, let’s jump right in and grab this recipe! I love the first page of this recipe and the little humor added in about quantities and techniques! Super cute and we are totally going to try this soon.
The recipe is below and boy does it sound yummy! My husband loves marmalade on his toast and I showed him this recipe and his exact words were “get to it”. Guess I know what I will be working on soon, because this man is getting a whole lot of marmalade for Valentine’s Day!
Well there you have it! We will be seeing the movie this weekend and I will update this post with our opinions too. Better yet, I have an awesome prize pack including 4 tickets to Paddington 2, A Paddington Plush, A Tote and so much more! Check it out over on my Facebook page!
