Trolls World Tour Dance Party Edition
We are huge Trolls fans around here and the excitement we had waiting for the movie to be released was super high! This past weekend our copy of the awesome Trolls World Tour Dance Party Edition arrived and we have watched it over and over. The kids love the music and the characters and I love that the storyline.
I love how this movie brings all the trolls genres together and showcases different music types and acceptance of all. Trolls World Tour Dance Party Edition also has some special bonus features like the short “Tiny Diamond Goes to School”, Dance Party Mode with interactive pop ups, sing-a-longs and more as well as Trolls Dance Academy! We have loved exploring all of these bonus features.
Trolls World Tour Dance Party Poppy Corn!
My family loves to have little snacks while watching movies and of course popcorn is our go to. I decided to create a super easy and quick Trolls World Tour Dance Party Poppy Corn for the kids to snack on during our dance party.
The process is super simple. I used melting chocolate wafers and food coloring to create different colors that I would spread on the popcorn using the double boiler method. I did have red chocolate melting wafers, but I think I would purchase the neon food coloring next time to get more of the bright “Poppy” colors in her hair and headband.
To simplify things, I used microwaveable popcorn and then I placed handfuls into the cupcake wrappers. If you want the popcorn to stick together more you could make a rice crispy type popcorn ball using marshmallows and butter. However, I like ours to have a good salty flavor to them, so we only use the chocolate drizzle method.
To top of the Trolls World Tour Dance Party Poppy Corn, I drizzled the different colors of melting chocolate on the popcorn. If you find that your chocolate does not drizzle well, you can add a bit of melted coconut oil slowly to make it easier to spread. I then topped it off with some fun sprinkles.
The little “Poppy Corn” cupcakes turned out super fun. I definitely think adding the pink instead of the red would have been better but our stores were out of the neon food coloring so I went with what I had. They also have a ton of different sprinkle options and you could even use a shiny glitter type sprinkle for a Tiny Diamond touch too!
