Sound Quality
If you are looking for sound quality that is top notch, the Elite Atlas is the headset for you. Pro-tuned 50mm NanoclearTM speakers deliver incredible Windows Sonic surround sound. I tried these out just to see if the sound really was as clear and crisp as it was advertised and it was that and more. I truly felt like the sound quality rivals the big guys on the market and for 1/2 the price.
One thing that we really liked about this particular headset was that the mic was removable. My son could use these headphones to game and communicate with his online friends or we could take the mic off and he could stream gaming videos without having the mic in the way. The mic itself is equipped with TrueSpeakTM.
Final Thoughts
My husband actually wanted to keep the Elite Atlas for himself. It just has this top of the line, luxury feel. We love that our son is able to be comfortable while he is gaming on his PC and that the Turtle Beach® Elite Atlas will last a long time. It has quality construction and was built around serious gamers.
We are focused on responsible gaming in our home. We make sure that our children are only on their devices in shared spaces and I appreciate that I am able to listen to him talk with his friends online. Though the Elite Atlas was designed around PC gamers, my son has used the headset on his gaming consoles as well as his tablet. The Elite Atlas really can go wherever gaming takes you.
In addition, to the quality of the build and the exceptional sound, we also love that they are easily portable. My kid likes to listen to his video games and play in both the kitchen and in the living room. The headphones are light and mobile which is a bonus.
