The Addams Family 2 Synopsis
The Addams Family is back in a sequel that finds Morticia and Gomez distraught with Wednesday and Pugsley growing up. As the children skip those family dinners, enjoy more “scream time” and overall avoid their parents, the Addams parents decide to reclaim their family bond!
Cramming everyone (including Uncle Fester) into their haunted camper, the family sets off on a cross country adventure. This adventure is not your normal family vacation and between some fun with cousin IT and some other kooky characters, this wild ride is one that families will love.
Our Thoughts on Addams Family 2
We were able to screen the Addams Family 2 this past weekend. My kids were out of control excited about this sequel and as a long time Addams Family fan, I too was pretty eager. Overall, our family enjoyed the movie. I think that there was one thing that could for sure be discussed further, but as a whole, the movie had the great characters we love, funny moments and good music.
As I did mention, there was one thing in the storyline might cause more discussions at home. As Wednesday grows apart from her parents, Gomez struggles with this and then there becomes a question of paternity with a switched at birth scenario. Although this seems to be the catalyst for a lot of the kooky happenings, it also could potentially cause children to question. The movie does a great job of making sure that love is at the center of the entire storyline, which is great and overall was very enjoyable.
