Today there is going to be an awesome SOLAR ECLIPSE!
However, looking at the Sun directly will damage your retinas and well that is bad.
I really want to teach my children about science and why it is so cool! So creating a way to see the solar eclipse is something that is easy and fun.
Enter the PinHole Camera!!!

So if you are like me and you forgot your solar eclipse glasses (or you do not own a welding mask), you can quickly and easily create pinhole camera to watch the eclipse for next to nothing and in about 5 minutes. QUICK-EASY-LEARNING CRAFT!
Steps:
1. Get a box. The bigger the better 🙂
2. Get a piece of computer paper (or a few pieces) and tape it to the inside of the box. This is where you will “project” the eclipse onto.
3. Get a piece of aluminum foil and tape it to the opposite side of the box (opposite from the paper and the aperture hole). Then take a push pin and puncture the tiniest hole you can through it (and the box if necessary). This will be the end that will face the sun.

4. Close the box off and tape up ANY light that you can see coming through. Duct tape works great for this. The only light should come from the foil and your aperture hole.
