Our Gaming Excitement for Pikmin 3
A little over a week ago, this amazing box arrived on our doorstep, and you guys, our kid flipped out. Like ran around the house screaming with excitement. The game he had been hearing about and waiting on for what he said was “forever” had arrived. Pikmin 3 Deluxe was here and this boy was ready.
Our son is a big gamer. He lives for his Nintendo Switch and loves it so much that my husband and I have started to make sure that we are each taking time to play with him. Now with Pikmin 3 Deluxe we have a new game that we can enjoy some good family competition with.
How to Build a Pikmin 3 Deluxe Terrarium
That big box…it was full of some awesome goodies that we could really get our hands on and build a Pikmin observation terrarium along with an adventure field guide journal to help guide us on our journey and some fun colored pencils to represent the Pikmin types on the planet.
We were sent a red Pikmin who historically is the first Pikmin to be fully introduced in the game and is a really great fighter and also has an immunity to fire. When our son started building his Pikmin 3 terrarium, he wanted to make the perfect home for his little red Pikmin.
He started adding a lot of vegetation using their faux moss. From there is wanted to have a lot of rocks in the space and so he added in white, clear and green rocks to give his Red Pikmin character a place that he could comfortably live in.
From there he wanted to add some water spaces using blue rocks because obviously his guy needs to have something to drink. He then added some branches, a few succulent plants and planted his Red Pikmin right in the center.
He was so proud of his Pikmin 3 Deluxe terrarium and after playing with it for a while, decided that it was definitely going to need to be right next to his TV where he plays his Nintendo Switch.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe Review
It took a few days after the terrarium building box arrived before the game showed up. It was an everyday nag from this little boy to ask about the game and since it has arrived, he has used every moment of his allotted gaming time to play Pikmin 3 Deluxe.
Overall, he has really enjoyed playing against his dad and growing his army of Pikmin characters. He is using his field guide journal to get through some of the game adventures and is not letting his dad see any of those hints, which is hysterical. Playing Pikmin 3 Deluxe has been so much fun for our family for sure.
Why You Need Pikmin 3 Deluxe
Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a HIGHLY anticipated game for Nintendo Switch. It is a great game and its predecessors were hugely popular. You definitely are going to want to get your hands on this game for a few reasons:
- If you like puzzles and games that are going to need a lot of strategy and problem solving, this is a serious must. Plus you get to save the planet!
- This game allows people of all gaming skill levels a chance to get into the swing of things easier and is a great family friendly adventure.
- The gameplay has great levels and really good graphics. Everytime I watch our son and husband play, I am so impressed by how clear and realistic the graphics are.
