Disney on Ice is near and dear to my heart. It is some of the fondest memories I have growing up. I just had to share our top 5 Disney On Ice Insider Secrets!

Disney on Ice Presents Worlds of Enchantment
If you are new around here, you should know that we are Disney On Ice experts and that we have seen every touring Disney on Ice show at least twice at this point. One of our favorite touring shows currently is Worlds of Enchantment. It is the perfect show for all ages and genders and one that we were so excited to see again!
Featuring storylines from Toy Story, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Cars and of course Mickey and friends this show is non-stop fun and excitement for the entire family. It combines so many awesome characters and stories into one incredible show that keeps even the smallest of onlookers attention.
We are Disney on Ice pros and know that not everyone has as many shows or as much experience as we do, so we wanted to share some of the little known secrets that we have come to find out over the many years we have attended! Check out our 5 Disney On Ice Insider Secrets!
1. Get There Early
Not only do you want to make sure that you get bathroom breaks done, locate your seats, get some snacks in hand, but often times getting into the venue can be a long process. Tickets in hand or not, these shows are full, parking is going to be busy and you want to make sure that you are prepared to get there at least 45 minutes prior to showtime.
2. The Best Seats!
We have sat in every section and at every angle. Disney on Ice does a great job making sure that the characters interact with the audience all around the ice, but the best seats in the house are going to be front and center but up one section from the ice. There is ice/floor level then there is usually the 100-200 level and those get the best photo opportunities. Too close to the ice and you cannot see everything, too far away and the little details fade out. Get right in the middle.
3. Plan for Souvenirs
Your kids will want them and there are a few options to take here. Disney on Ice actually has really great merch and for the most part, the prices are pretty reasonable. You can purchase at the event or you could call the venue ahead and see if they allow outside merch in. We have SO many light up toys and shirts and cups that for us there is nothing really that new, so we do the call ahead. Either way make a plan, because every other kid near and far will likely have something and your kid will also feel the need to have that too.
4. Eat Ahead
It is arena food. Disney on Ice does not bring the food (there is popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones), feed your littles before the big show. That will cut down on food costs and leave you some cash for those souvenirs that I know you will be leaving with!
5. Prime Picture Time
We go to Disney on Ice to make memories. To experience magic as a family and we all want to capture that. There is some prime picture time for you to take your littles down by the ice when others are not as eager to get the photos. Usually before the show starts (no matter where you are sitting), you can sneak down for a little photo and also during intermission. In this particular photo my nephew needed a picture with the zamboni, but normally we can get some awesome photos of the kids with the background during this time and we are not fighting 1000 other people for space.
Disney On Ice is an incredible experience and one that we are so fortunate to continue to relive twice a year. With over 30 shows under my belt, I hope that this list helped you plan for your next magical show! Please let me know if you have any questions, I am sure I can answer just about anything when it comes to Disney On Ice!
