This past Monday, the kids and I got to preview Cars 3! My kids have been so excited to see this movie and when Monday came, it was all that they could talk about. Finally the hour came and my kids and I grabbed our seats and sat back to take in the movie.
The movie brings us back to Lightning McQueen as we left him. All-star, famous racer with a need for speed and introduced a new competitor Jackson Storm. Jackson is a next generation young race car and brings a new component to Lightning’s race game. You can meet Jackson Storm in the video below.
One of our biggest questions prior to the movie was if we would see our original favorite characters in the new movie. That was a quick yes! The minute that Mater hit the screen you could hear laughter throughout the theater. It was great to see the original cast of characters back together!
Lightning faces some challenges this race season and does his best to train adding some old and new flare to his routine. We also meet a new character who quickly becomes a favorite; Cruz Ramirez.
She is a race car trainer and provides some extremely cute and funny scenes in the movie. My kids and I just loved her! You can catch a great clip of Cruz in the video below!
I will say that one of our favorite scenes was actually part of the Cars 3 On the Road Tour that we saw last month. The demolition derby scene is hysterical and I know you will love it too!
