Good Habits Start at Home
Growing up, most of us look up to our parents. They guide our routines, rules and help us create healthy habits. As a mom, I try to keep that in the back of my mind, but this year it has been rough. I have personally been going through some anxiety and depression issues and that also means that I have not been taking the best care of myself and those good habits have slid a bit.
I am not proud of this, but recognizing that I do need to set a better example for my children and that we do need to take care of our health, especially in the current climate, is so important. My kids have ALWAYS been amazing about maintaining their routines and habits like taking their vitamins and choosing better food options. These kids reminded me that I need to get back into a good routine and that I need to take care of myself too.
I have been so focused on my mental health, that I forgot that I also need to take care of my physical health and overall wellbeing. As moms we are always really tough on ourselves, but we can learn a lot from these kids of ours. These good habits they have, started at home, the home that I helped create for them, and I can get myself back on track. Part of that includes incorporating some easy changes into my routines and my diet.

The recipe was super easy and incredibly tasty. Simply blend together ice, Emergen-C Immunity Plus, honey, milk and a little orange juice and then enjoy! I chose the citrus flavor of Emergen-C but you could use any flavor really. This smoothie was just the right amount of sweet and tangy and was so refreshing. I also loved that I was helping give my immune system the support it needs, and that the yeast beta glucans in there would aid in helping my mental clarity among many other things.

Make this super simple and tasty immunity smoothie with Wellmune® in Emergen-C Immunity Plus. Your body will thank you.
- 10 cubes ice
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 pkt Emergen-C Immunity Plus Citrus with Wellmune
- 8 oz Orange Juice
Place all ingredients in a blender.
Blend all ingredients into a smoothie
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
I have made 3 of these smoothies and both my husband and I are enjoying them so much and I am already feeling some of the positive effects that the yeast beta glucans promote. Adding these yeast beta glucans to our wellness routine is something that I am glad we are choosing to do and that we are being proactive in taking steps to support our immune system with next-level wellness choices!
