Punch Bowl Social Stapleton
In the last few years, Denver has boomed with business and is really on the upswing economically. With that boom, we are seeing some really awesome businesses take old areas and turn them into hip places for families to really enjoy. One of those fantastic additions to Denver is Punch Bowl Social in Stapleton.
Featuring an eclectic mix of vintage and modern fun, Punch Bowl Social is a place to relax, have fun and enjoy good food and a cold drink. Walking up to Punch Bowl Social my husband and I were taken back to our childhood days of watching airplanes take off at the old Denver Stapleton airport with the incredible incorporation of the old air traffic control tower.
Entering the diner we immediately felt welcomed and excited to take on a fun family adventure. The place was literally popping with color and excitement and every patron there looked very relaxed. We decided to take a tour through Punch Bowl Social and check out every nook and cranny.
From bowling lanes, to their signature circle bar, private karaoke rooms, putt putt, arcade and more, there was so much to see and so much to do. Our kids were biting at the bit to try everything they possibly could. We had to remind them that this place is right in our backyard and we could not possibly fit everything into one day.
One thing that we did fit in was the customary trip to the bathroom. I swear this little girl of ours just loves public restrooms. However, at Punch Bowl Social Stapleton, this bathroom was a welcomed surprise. Featuring amazing vintage safety pamphlets, luggage tags and other airplane regalia it was a wonderful homage to the runways and airport that once sat on these grounds.
The atmosphere and unifying theme that Punch Bowl Social Stapleton was incredible and we loved touring the place, but we were definitely ready to enjoy a bit of family fun.
Putt Putt on the Patio
My kids are diehard putt putt golf fanatics. If we go ANYWHERE near a course, they are begging to get on that course and start the competition. Naturally, when our kids saw that Punch Bowl Social had a course, the were ready to grab their clubs and get to it.
Situated on their awesome open air patio, is a full 18 hole putt putt course that is sprinkled with the beloved airplane theme throughout. You can hit a ball through a mock engine and follow the airplane trail to the next hole. Our kids were all over this course and delighted to have a little family competition.
Food You MUST Try
Putt putt was a blast but we were starving. We headed back into the diner and waited to be sat. I fell in love with the Colorado feel and upcycled use of raw materials from our great state. From the mason jars, to the recycled beetle kill tables and more, Punch Bowl Social was clearly focused on sustainability and this biology teacher was all about that.
We ordered their signature monkey bread. You guys, this was the most incredible tasting brunch starter that we have had. Our family gobbled this ooey gooey goodness up and and were salivating for more.
The kids ordered some of the classics from the kids menu. My sons cheeseburger looked juicy and amazing, but you guys, the hit that my husband and I were flipping over was their burrito. It was the best burrito we have eaten in years and in Colorado that is saying a lot.
I enjoyed their avocado toast and overall the food and drinks were plentiful. flavorful and perfectly cooked. My husband hasn’t stopped raving about that burrito and honestly the food is something that would absolutely keep us coming back, time after time.

One of the main reasons that we headed to Punch Bowl Social in Stapleton was to check out their Pumpkin Patch Palooza and get a little of those harvest festivities underway. Running every weekend in October from 11am to 5pm there is activities and fun for everyone at NO COST!
You can grab some awesome photo ops and even purchase a pumpkin and decorate it right there. There are a few games like pumpkin ring toss and of course every aspect of of Punch Bowl Social Stapleton is themed with a Halloween flair! With drinks and treats for kids and adults alike.
We had a really nice time hanging out on their transformed patio, choosing our little pumpkins and snapping some photos. The weather was perfection, the vibe was awesome and the treats were fantastic.
We were so glad to spend the afternoon there earlier this month, but my kids are anxiously ready to go back. We may head back for their Circus Themed Halloween Party this weekend. It is this Saturday, October 26th from 6pm to 9pm and in addition to all their regular Pumpkin Patch Palooza events, they are also holding a costume contest!
