Inside:Looking for results or a Let There Be Milk Review? This post will show you how I increased my breastmilk supply while using this tincture.
Our Breastfeeding Dilemma
I immediately jumped into taking it, there was no time to lose! Initially I followed the directions and took 20 drops. I placed them in a shot glass (classy folks!) and downed it quickly. Whew that was a bit of a surprise. The taste was fine initially but I definitely had to chase it with a glass of water because the aftertaste was a bit bitter. After that first time, I filled the shot glass 1/2 full with water and then placed the 20 drops in and took it that way. It was MUCH better with water. I took it three times a day and it took about 3 days to take effect. Once it did take effect though, it was like the early days of nursing. I was waking up engorged and needing relief, and little peanut was completely satisfied and even better, she started to gain just a tiny bit of weight! That was a win in our corner and I was 100% excited about this.
I took Let There Be Milk for several more months and in addition, I also increased my water and did power pumping to enhance the effects of the tincture. I also worked on relaxation techniques to help my body with the stress that I was under from our daughters diagnosis and that dip in my supply. It helped me to build a stash of milk which came in handy when my husband and I went on two separate vacations sans kids that year. Birth Songs Botanicals helped me reach my goal of nothing but mama’s milk for her first year! This was truly a Godsend and worked very well. I highly recommend purchasing some today and please let me know how it is going for you and if you have any questions!
