Create a Spooky Halloween Table
I absolutely adore the seasonal flair and decor. I am not one that would say that I love change, but I do like it when it comes to making my house feel the holiday spirit. This year I am focusing more on making our brand new table a focal point of our home. I decided to do this because our previous table was bar height and terrible for our kids. In fact there are too many injuries to name from that table. We just never were a family around it and no one loved it. This table, we all picked out together, it is child friendly and so much more comfortable. Making this space where we do homework and enjoy dinner something beautiful is important to me and I am thankful that Oriental Trading offered up some goodies to spook up our table in the cutest way possible!
The super cute and ‘ghostly’ Halloween Chair Covers were on the top of my list. Although I absolutely love our chairs, I thought these would be fantastic to add a little fun and flair to our kitchen table! When I put them on the kids flocked to them. They are very soft, easy to wash (important to me) and easy to place on and remove. Thats a win for me!
The glass jar set you see above, I have had my eye on for a few months. I really like doing candy bars and even more, I enjoy having candies out for the holidays. My family has a sweet tooth and having little festive treats is even more reason for us to gather around the table and enjoy each others company. These jars are beautifully crafted and not too large. They are 3 different sizes and have their own uniqueness. I can see these being a staple in my holiday decor!
One of my favorite pieces to this table decor is this creepy cloth that I chose to make into a table runner. It is advertised for the wall, but I loved the look of it on our table as the runner. It really brought a feel of Halloween with creepy and old look. The fabric is actually well made and this is extremely long. It is 4 yards of fabric and can be a very versatile Halloween decor item.
