Rent Anything with Ruckify
A few weeks ago, I heard about this awesome rental company called Ruckify, which gives people access to any item they can dream up and has a sustainability focus. You can sign up easily, search for your ideal item, set up a rental window, and for every sign-up, app transaction, and review, they plant a tree. Ruckify and its peer-to-peer rental service is revolutionizing the rental marketplace, and I am so excited to share all about it…oh, and an exclusive $35 RuckBucks if you read on!
Ruckify prides itself on providing a space for people to start their own rental businesses while also looking out for the planet. Not only can you rent whatever your heart desires, but you can sign up to rent out your items instead of discarding them. By doing this, you can help others with an event or project and help our Earth by lowering your carbon footprint and decreasing waste which is good. Ruckify is a win for you, a win for the planet, and a win for your pocketbook too!
What Did I Rent?
I love the idea of being able to find anything I want and have it delivered to my house. When my kids were little we used to take them up to the casinos to eat at the buffet for special occasions. Honestly, they seriously loved the chocolate fountains there and although we didn’t go often, it is still something they mention. Children are no longer allowed at the casino that had the chocolate fountains, so we just don’t do that anymore.
I knew exactly what I wanted to rent from Ruckify and was so stinking excited all week waiting for my rental to arrive. They have contactless delivery and pick up and are making sure to sterilize everything between rentals. They delivered the item right to your porch, and we watched the camera, they also had gloves and a mask on for delivery. To keep the item safe, it is in a plastic tote and has the directions of use on it.
Inside the tote is your sterilized item. Our chocolate fountain rental was wrapped in a new bag, sealed safely, and was ready for use. All I had to do was buy the chocolate and the dippable snacks and go for it! The directions on the outside of the tote told me how to set up the fountain and I felt really comfortable in this current climate with the contactless delivery, cleanliness, and overall experience.
Give the Best Experiences Over Gifts
I have very few items that I remember from my childhood, but what I do remember are the incredible experiences that we did as a family. I was ready to create one of those experiences, and so I sent the family away to go grab a movie and something to eat for dinner and told them I needed a bit of a break. They left, and I grabbed my chocolate melts (I needed 3 bags friends), and I started that fountain right up. First, I set it on melt and used a spatula to stir and start melting them.
I set up my little chocolate fountain charcuterie board full of their favorite things to dip in the chocolate while I periodically stirred the chocolate. I had to slowly add the chocolate melting wafers so keep this in mind as you are setting up. For our dipping board, we had cinnamon graham crackers, marshmallows, strawberries, pretzel rods, and sliced bananas.
I had also purchased pineapple, but that family of mine got home right as I was turning the fountain on to start the cascade and all bets were off. Those kids rushed this chocolate fountain and started grabbing all the snacks and dipping them in before I was completely ready to let them loose. C’est la vie!
I am like 99% sure, I didn’t melt the chocolate completely right, but literally, no one cared and those little fingers and happy faces were so happy to have dessert before dinner. It was melted enough and it tasted might yummy! Heck, my husband and I even joined in. I love chocolate covered pretzels and strawberries, so obviously it was go time.
My husband, on the other hand, refused to have his picture taken, but was all about slathering his sweet treats in that delicious chocolate and making a yummy plate. We ate ALL of the charcuterie board and well, we hardly ate our dinner, but it was so worth it to see those happy chocolate-covered faces.
The surprise was so much fun and honestly, I love that I was able to rent the fountain from Ruckify to have a little fun, but I didn’t have to worry about storing it, and I could help out the environment too! Our entire family enjoyed the experience and I know they will talk about this for years. Very thankful to Ruckify for offering such a great app to be able to create these memories and looking forward to renting more and creating more memories while helping the Earth too!

Great article! Thank you for presenting this option - the sharing economy is ever-growing.
We've heard of AirBnb, where you rent your space, Uber, where you share a stranger's car, and now Ruckify where you can rent ANYTHING.
Brilliant.
