National Good Neighbor Day just passed and celebrating those unsung heros that are rallying our students in the classroom was just what I knew I wanted to do. Check out how I was able to make these health and safety bags and deliver them to teachers in the 2020 Toyota Camry TRD.

Teaching in 2020
If you would have asked me in January what I thought education would look like in the fall, I would have told you that it would look like it always has. However, here we are 7 months into a pandemic and teaching in 2020 looks very different. It is isolating, and hard and every teacher I know is working their tails off to make the best of this experience and do what they can to give their students the education they deserve.
Teachers are working double, sometimes triple time, being innovative, trying new technology and strategies and more to make education happen and often we are doing this away in basements, closets, porches and quiet classrooms. It is hard and teaching in 2020 is different. I see my colleagues struggling and worrying and stressing and so many just about ready to quit, so I wanted to do a little something to make them feel like they were cared for and about.
Good Neighbor Day
September 26th, was National Good Neighbor Day. This is a time to spread a little kindness within our communities and for me, that meant my school community. I teach with an amazing group of science teachers who every single day work tirelessly for their students. We are a family at our school and I feel so honored to be a part of the community, so for Good Neighbor Day, I decided to put together little health and safety bag for our return to in-person teaching!
It took me a bit of time and some organization but I was able to locate sanitizing wipes, hand sanitizer, masks and even a little bit of chocolate for the teachers to have. I was so thankful that some some stores were willing to work with me and I was able to run around and purchase everything I needed to put these little health and safety bags together.
I loaded up the bags in the back of the Toyota Camry and after sneakily getting my colleagues addresses from the school, I mapped out my route. I spent 3 hours with my friend, driving around to our teachers houses dropping off the goody bags and truly having a great time sneaking onto porches and dropping off the bags.
Would you believe that not one of my coworkers caught me in the act! I was super quick and stealthy! I drove up in the 2020 Camry TRD and grabbed the bag, placed it on the porch and then hustled back to the Toyota ready to head to the next address.
Once all the bags were delivered, I text my department and told them to check outside. They all loved the gesture and I was so happy to spread a bit of kindness to the people that are working so tirelessly right now.
2020 Toyota Camry TRD
I was lucky enough to spend a week in the 2020 Toyota Camry TRD while doing my good neighbor deliveries and boy did we NOT want to give this pretty little cherry bomb back. I got so many looks in this car and it was FAST too.
The ground effects on this car, the color, the blacked out rims and the whole TRD package were just stunning. This for sure did not look like your average Toyota Camry. I even had a couple guys at the car wash tell me what a nice car it was.
Inside was sweet too! Red trimmed leather throughout, and even those racing type pedals really made this feel like a race car. The inside of the car was spacious and comfortable and my husband and I were constantly arguing over who got to take the car to work. So much fun to drive.
The onboard 7-inch touchscreen which is compatible with Alexa and surround sound offered some fun driving entertainment as well. The kids loved watching the graph on the screen and seeing our gas mileage change depending on how we were driving. Although the TRD models are not Toyota’s highest end loaded models, they do have a lot of fun, functionality to them and starting at just over $31,000 these cars are a great value too!
Our kids had plenty of room in the backseat to stretch out and they absolutely loved the red seat belts. I loved how easy the car was to clean up and the storage pockets on the back of the seats. The 2020 Toyota Camry TRD was such a pretty and fun car to have for the week and is definitely on our list of cars to buy in the future! I am so glad I was able to cruise around in this sweet cherry red ride and deliver happiness to my colleagues and celebrate good neighbor day!

You warm my heart with this post. It's so nice to be able to show kindness to others, especially in these crazy times. I have a friend that has a Camry like this but an older version, but she loves it. I can see why now. These features sound awesome. ;)
