Bacon Wrapped Rosemary Pork Chops & Asparagus
I received the medium Family Bundle box from Perdue Farms which included these incredible bacon wrapped rosemary pork loin chops from Niman Ranch. I decided to pair this with my famous asparagus. The result was a juicy, tender and savory meal that had my family begging for more. The pork chops are thick, and sear up nicely over a good medium heat with a bit of olive oil
The bacon adds a bit of that smokey flavor to them and although I thought initially that the pork chops were too small, there was plenty of meat for our family of 4. My husband said that you could taste the difference in the meat and we all agreed that it was not tough or dry like you would purchase in the stores. It reminded me of the meat we would have our freezers stocked with as a kid.
It paired perfectly with the asparagus and made for a really filling and great low carb meal. The medium family bundle came with 2 packages of the Niman Ranch pork loin chops for a total of 4 pieces of meat. We did not have any leftovers, but we did go in for seconds, so there is that tidbit. I think in the future we would order a couple extra packages of these awesome pork loin chops because we really enjoyed them.
