Normally when I am sharing a recipe, I just flood your face with step by step pictures, but lets be honest here. I didn’t take photos other than this one because I was actually crazy busy and forgot. That is why this recipe is great, you can just quickly set it up and walk away. Come back and eat! So check out all the amazingness and PIN this recipe!
Ingredients:
- Taco Shells
- 3-4 Chicken breasts
- 1 Sliced lime
- 1 tsp of ground cumin
- 1 tsp of garlic salt
- Chopped lettuce, tomato and avocado
- Shredded cheese
- Your favorite hot sauce
Directions:
- In your slow cooker, place 3-4 chicken breasts, a sliced lime, 1 tsp of ground cumin and 1 tsp of garlic salt. Set it on medium heat and walk away.
- When it is fully cooked, come back and remove the chicken (not the limes) and shred it. I found the best way to do this is to throw it in my KitchenAid mixer and let it do the work. It took 5 seconds and the chicken was perfectly shredded.
- Place the chicken in the taco shells and top with lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheese and your favorite hot sauce.
So what do you think? How about trying this out for a quick and easy meal this weekend!
